I didn't end up going to Christie, I am still debating on it, I need more on it, seems like every place I go I'm disappointed lol. According to lots of reviews though I did find a place that seems promising called fairy Lake so I might check that out when I get time. Probably Monday

I have a boat too so maybe I will try out Christie, I more so use Texas rigged worms, crawfish or I'll use a swimbait hook on a paddle tail, I don't really have any luck on spoons, spinners, cranks.

Thanks, I'm really not too keen on catfish unfortunately! However I did go to valens today at 6 am and 2 guys pulled in 2 chunky bass throughout the whole time and I don't believe anything else was caught, it has some good bass locations though! I was with 5 other people and none of us managed...

I'm looking for some good lmb, smb locations around Hamilton to oakville area and I was thinking about trying Christie Lake conservation but somewhere I read that they apparently drain the lake annually. So has anybody fished it recently?
