Haven't had any luck at my local pier. Been waiting for a nice calm water night to take the kayak out and give that a go. @tossing iron - very true we need some good rains and soon.

I've turned off my hot water tank at home because I'm now taking my baths when I go down to the pier! Water temps are a comfortable 24°C - just the way I like it :mrgreen:

Lol - too funny... Meet a guy last night with a tiny bass rod, 3lbs line and a soft bass bait lure thing on the end trying to catch the splashing salmon at the boat lunch. I spent 10 minutes with him and gave him some pointers on the proper gear needed for these monsters.

Nice Beman9010! I tried a west side trip last night on my yak and nothing. Fish don't seem to be active in this current soupy (70+f) water - or maybe this is the only rationale I have for my skunk night :( Hope others are doing better than me at the moment!
