fish finder battery

Hey everyone, I'm looking to hook up an older Humminbird wide 128 that my dad had lying around onto my kayak. I've found all the parts except the battery, which I'm left somewhat stuck on. I think I want to go the 12V route rather than trying to hook up AA's in series or something like that...
