Hello Ontario Anglers,
Greetings from Peru. I hope you have had excellent Holidays...
I want to show you my last project of my homemade lures, flies and baits. This post pretends to be the first one out of four, following the introduction of my 100% Homemade Balsa Wooden Lures - The Attila Fat Minnow.
For long time ago, I wanted to do my own minnow lures. Finally, last year, I began to make my own minnow lures. After some preliminar prototypes I got the "Attila Fat Minnow "S" (S for sinking)". It is made from Balsa wood, and its main characteristics are:
- Sinking action
- Saltwater treble hooks #1
- Total weight around 1oz (26.1gr)
- Shifting weight action for better casts
- Shocking colours
I have prepared a short video, where you can see the step by step process of my work until get the wooden plug ready to be painted and finished (next post).
I hope you like the video, thank you for watching. Please give me your questions and recommendations, and feel free to share the video with your angling friends. Also, in case you want, you can visit my Youtube Channel and watch other videos of what I do (other lures, Fishing in action, etc.).
Have a safe fishing and best regards, Antonio
