1st smallies of 08

Spent a few hours out on the boat this weekend. Lake Simcoe was like glass....beautiful. Landed a few nice smallies..[attachment=1]smallie1.

All Ive gotten this year have been maybe 6" and a pound. Must be something in the water.

Cool, nice smallies. Did you use the provincal park to launch, etc... if so what are the fees? Their site only mentions camping fees..

These were actually caught on a weighted jig head tipped with a worm. Sibbalds is a nice spot, lil pricey tho,$16.80 for launch and parking. Just easier to get to the hot spot on the lake then launch in Keswick and boat over!

Yeah, out of the water 3-4 times...all power..caught on an U.L. Ugly Stick with 4 lb test!! What a battle!!
