well its been long time since i made report i think almost 2 months lol. But after mickey posted that image i was like nice open water finally.So i decided to hit the river. Was kinda worried when i got there lotta snow on the ground i didnt know what to expect, but when i saw the river it was perfect no slush water had just a bit murky color to it. None came till maybee 10 am :shock: My first cast lost a huge one, an hour later i finally hit my first fish oh 2011 :grin: 2 hours later hit another and called it a day.

and this little duck its been with me for an hour lol

Sweeeeetness! Good stuff float!..haha i'm so happy and i didn't even catch the fish . I totally should have listen to you going to the big C instead of niagara..Out of the 20 fisherman (including myself and my buddy) and 6 hours of fishing. The same guy caught 2 fish on live minnow's. I'm giving it one last shot tomorrow with live minnnow's (smaller one's this time blair, resident minnow's there don't grow to three.) The gas is killing me. I wonder if live minnow's would work in the credit at all.

mike i've never tried minnows at the credit but if they work at niagara why not try here. I tried pinkies and jigs roe just seemed to work better today. it was a slow day but worth it :smile:

Nice fish man, on my way to the whirlpool today i was gunna stop to give it a shot. After a good old fashion skunking at niagara, i now realize i should have exited at missisauga rd lol. Maybe tomorrow.

i was thinking of hitting Niagara but i didnt feel like driving an hour and 30 minutes to get there :wink: maybee when the gas prices go down/if they go down.

They won't which is why i want to buy a drift boat, and a viking to row it. We'll depart toronto harbour on monday, and get there on thursday. Haha i would sooo down rig all the way there if my plan was ever possible, or if i lived in 1500 A.D.
