I believe this first guy is a largie? Was at Penetang Harbour a month ago and saw him at the docks swimming upside down and struggling. Came off the water a few hours later and there he was again. But it was dead. Smallest bass I've ever been able to observe.

The baby pike was from Mountsberg last year. My only catch that day.

No matter the size, fish in general are beautiful creatures. And look how fresh looking that pike is. It hasn't been in a real battle yet. Pretty much every pike I've ever caught has some battle wounds. Flesh wounds or missing parts of its fins.

Beautiful little pike! It has got the first wound (from hook) for sure ...
 
its actually a smallie ,too bad its dead thing looks like its got quite the appetite, big ole gut on it lol

true. i was looking at what i thought was a horizontal stripe but looking at it again you can see how vertical the pattern is. plus the mouth doesn't extend past the eye.
 
The coloring on the pike is astounding!
The baby bass, too bad it didnt survive
 
It always amazes me how tiny fish will strike big lures, sometimes nearly their own size. I've caught 2-3 tiny pike near the mouth of the Notty---the first ones I ever caught of that size.
