2010 1st Annual Fishing Tournament or M&G

I think the board members of OFF should all get together in 2010 for a Meet & Greet or for the 1st annual fishing tournament.

Since I am not an ice fisher, I was thinking no ice but if there is an ice tourney I would still come to participate and learn the ropes so to speak.

I tried last year for spring in the holland with the crappie. Didn't catch any, and I only met frozenfire then. Lol.
A couple others showed up I think, but we never got around to seeing them.

Anyways, I'd show up for the softwater for sure..I wouldn't mind fishing in a fun tournament either!

So How did you end up doing last Friday Dirk? I went on Sunday night and barely caught anything.

I was going to go check out DL but had a few cocktails and decided to just throw off my dock. Tried throwing cranks and top water for an hour or so then gave up after being unsuccessful.

Well general concensus so far is everyone hybernates over the winter.. Im all for a spring tourny tho!

Anyone else who wants to try the hard water, let me know. Huts are available and only 6 minutes from my door!

Hauling up Trout in the middle of January is more fun than it looks :evil:

i'm up for a meet of some sort. i'm in hibernation now, but keen to meet some of you guys and strike up the opportunity to learn and fish with you.

i enjoy drinking, fishing and having a laugh in no particular order, but like to combine all three where possible.

Boat is away now for the season, but the ice is coming..and dont get me wrong. I am a rookie when it comes to the hardwater,,No Sled or 4 wheeler to get me out there,,,my F150 doesnt float...but we can rent a hut with ride out for less than 40 bucks...last year anyway,,,
