Introducing the OntarioMinistry of Natural Resources' New Automated Licensing System
The fall of 2011 marks the introduction of the Ministry of NaturalResources' automated licensing system. Clients will see a number ofimprovements as a result of the new system. For example, the system willfacilitate the sale of fishing and hunting licences at licence issuers, overthe Internet and through a toll-free telephone application.

Existing Outdoors Card Holders
Noticeabout Outdoors Cards that expire in 2011
Residents of Ontario can now renew their cardonline or at 1-800-288-1155.
Canadian residents and non-residents can nowrenew their card online. Watch for your renewal reminder in the mail.
Important Change: MNR will nolonger be accepting mail-in applications. Three-year licences will be availableonline, through the automated telephone licensing line, and at selectServiceOntario counters and issuers.
ATTENTION Please be advised thatOutdoors Cards renewed or purchased in November and December will be mailed inJanuary. You must have your Outdoors Card or temporary Outdoors Card andlicence on your person in order to hunt or fish legally in Ontario. If you planto hunt or fish in the near future please contact the Outdoors Card Centre at1-800-387-7011 Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. ET for information onhow to obtain a temporary Outdoors Card and licences. We apologize for anyinconvenience and thank you for your patience as we transition to our newautomated licensing system.
