40 mile creek

Went out to 40 mile on Tuesday. The run still hasn't started there but the odd fish still come through. Was fishing on yarn balls at first and then switched to some imitation minnows and caught this one right before heading home. I figure this weekend should already be better, the run should come soon.

Just wanted to point out to be careful with what you post. There are definitely lurkers and posting something that detailed in the public forums can invite a lot more un-wanted people the tribs. I'd advise to crop out the background or give out less specific info if you can.

If they recognize the background i think its safe to say they already know that spot

I don't feel the need to hide any spots. There is enough tributaries for everyone. If you know how, you can catch fish in any of them. No need to all flock one spot.

Great fish! Have you been there since? I'm thinking about heading down there on the weekend, but there aren't many reports on the creek, as it's not as good as it used to be.
