A brand new hello from Michael in Toronto

Hello, guys.

My name is Michael and I have just started fishing in Ontario. I used to fish, in a very different way, some 15 years ago. And now I'm fishing again here in our province.

PROBLEM IS: I don't know much about the fishes here, the right bait to use, worthy lakes/creeks to visit and the good season/time of year on different spots.

I guess I will learn lots from you guys and I will share with you my progress by posting more.

I wish everybody have good catches and have fun.

hmmmm, here is a few, lol

1) Destructive fishing, that is by dynamite or electrcution
2) Mass fishing, that is by a net, across the entire river
3) Sight fishing, that is by bow and arrow, smack them by a long pole or a piece of rock

As odd and non-sporting as they all seem, I have seen them all. Not saying that this fellow has done that )

back home my dad woud catch fish with hes hands pretty cool thing to see :grin:

I thought of these too but then ... really???
I have had the pleasure of catching a trout with my hands ... then releasing again !!
Still wondering what his alternate fishing methods were :|
