Hi all fishermen and women. I don't remember when I joined this forum or if I've ever posted here before, but thought I'd say hi anyway.
I'm in the Waterloo area and I dont know of any spots to fish, but I'm hoping to find some. I've been on many fishing trips with my dad and freinds over the years and have yet to catch anything over 2 lbs. Anyway, I got frustrated and put away all my fishing gear to start a new hobby about 5 years ago. Recently though I got the itch to catch some fish so Im back at it again.
I've been checking out Google Earth to try and find river access points along the Grand and Nith rivers from Wellesley to Paris and down to Brantford. I know I dont have to go to Rice Lake and catch Bluegills when there are so many of you catching Bass right here within an hours drive from my house. I'm not interested in catching a 5 foot long trophy lunker - just a nice little spot with easy access where I can catch bass to my hearts content. Aside from Google Earth and driving out to bridges to look for access points is there a better way?
