i think i solved this problem we should get a special parking permit with our license to park on the side of public roads as long as it is not impeding traffic pathways private property etc and is within a certain distance of a body of water or river/stream with good intent

Here's a better solution - know and understand the law, park legally, then walk in from there. That's what I do, never have this kind of problem...
The lesson of the lemming is, just because others are doing something, that doesn't make it okay.

+1...never start a fight you cannot win. It's not worth the hassle. There is plenty of water to cover and lot's of time left.

I think u took my solution a little too serious as i was kinda joking and dreaming at the same time and sometimes i forget cpu
's dont show sarcasm

Although I'm not sure this is still the case. A few years back I was ticketed on a road in Hamilton that had no signage. I went to the municipal offices to question this. They told me that there is clearly a sign when you enter Hamilton that says no parking on through streets between certain hours. Like I read the signs as I enter the city.
On the brighter side, I later noticed that the ticket said in front of #56 xxx Ave and the houses on that street went from 54-58, no 56 so the ticket did get tossed :D
