Hello everyone,
My name is Carter. I'm an amateur angler from St. Joseph Island in Northern Ontario, trying to make it to the big leagues one day. I fish for mostly Smallmouth Bass, Northern Pike and Walleye in the surrounding area. I'm hoping to get a job at Frontier Fishing Lodge in the NWT this summer as a dock hand, which will hopefully lead to some experience at guiding. Last summer I worked at the Richards Landing Marina, which was a good experience.
I am also running an organization called Fishing Algoma. It started out as an Instagram account (@fishingalgoma), which has taken off and is nearing 2000 followers. I have since made a Facebook page and a Twitter account for Fishing Algoma, which provides anglers with information that they may need to know regarding fishing in the Algoma District. I hope to soon have an operational website to go along with these accounts.
If anyone wants to follow my personal social media accounts, you can find me on Twitter (@DorschtFishing) and on Instagram (@dorschtfishing). Just in the last few days I made the Twitter account specifically for my fishing tweets.
