A friend of mine in Scarborough turned me on to using rabbit. It is as soft and mobile as the traditional marabou, but is a lot tougher - so especially when fishing in lakes where snagging the bottom happens less - the fly can last through several fish, or weekends.JMatt1983 said:use the rabbit for the tail? i used black marabou for the tail with some of that crystal flash, and peacock herl for the body instead of the black chenile normally used
