Another Newbie

Hello from Oakville Ontario. Fished allot in the 60's while living in the Bahamas, 70's fished Northern Ontario...the 80's and 90's and early 20's I found golf. Now after two knee replacements and an upcoming shoulder replacement, I'm back to fishing. Fished just south of Barrys Bay last fall at a cottage we rented. Shore fishing only and had some success with a Chug Bug, 6.. 2-3 pound SMB, all released. This year different location just north of Barry's Bay at Pleasure Point Cottages on Trout lake.
Another rod & reel added and a full tackle box for Bass, and Walleye :mrgreen: . Have a boat and motor for 2 weeks...cant wait. Come on Fall.....lol

Welcome back to fishing captain

I spend lots of time up in Barrys Bay but have never fished Trout. So many lakes around there and not enough time. The area is great because with so many lakes around the fishermen tend to spread out pretty well. I was the only one out on the north part of Kaminiskeg for the last couple of days.
