Night fished last night... well started at 7:45 pm or so but stayed late and the fishing was awesome! Again, just drifted with the current jigging an 1/8 oz head and 2.5 inch GULP. All fish were caught in 8 to 14 feet of water. It was so beautiful out there last night! No wind, no morons.... I am back at it tonight! Brought 20 odd Crappies to the boat, a 16 inch Smallie, 18 inch Channel Cat, 4 Drum on jigs and on "the plug that shall remain nameless since I have advertised the heck out of it!" :D They ranged from 15 to 20 inches and also one 16 inch walleye. As we all know, the Drum actually fight harder than the Walleyes on light gear but it is the Walleye that gets "gamefish" status and elevated to lofty heights in the collective minds of anglers. LOVE ME DRUM!!!

Cheers friends! Have a safe weekend on the water! :)

LOL! Little Drummer Boy.... watch for my Christmas special!

those guys really nail a rattling plug eh, It amazes me how wide they can open that mouth

"all we are sayinggggggg is give Drum a chance!!!" (sing to John Lennon tune)

Drum on a rattling plug!!!!!! I only catch mine on worms. I'd never expect them to chase and eat other fish, apparently the do go for shad along with clams and mussles. They don't have teeth to be a predator. That's awesome, when I go out I'll have to give that a try. Thanks.
