I want to get out fishing this weekend. Is there any open water anywhere worth trying? What are you fishing for at this time of year?
That's the plan. Can anyone PM me a decent spot to try from shore for anything that's open (trout, pike, walleye in some spots?)usernamehere said:Hopefully we are all fishing for stuff thats actually in open season.

Pretty vague, not asking for a hotspot just a place where I can park my car and walkJDean said:See 2nd and 4th posts above

Yeah. I live a couple of minutes from Frenchman's Bay, so after March 31 I'm out of luck on doing much after work. Now, if the boss gives me a run to Sudbury, I'll be bassin'!FrequentFlyer said:yep, meaning in land lakes, but closed for april in zone 20 which is lake o. which includes harbours and marshes. accidental catches do occur, but if you're tossing 8" jerk bait with 30lb braid with a steel leader, and tell the CO you're fishing steelhead, hes bound to call you a liar lol
Sorry if im wrong but Bass are closed till end of June no??Dave Bailey said:Yeah. I live a couple of minutes from Frenchman's Bay, so after March 31 I'm out of luck on doing much after work. Now, if the boss gives me a run to Sudbury, I'll be bassin'!

North of Highway 17, and west of where the Serpent river meets Lake Huron, they're open all year.craigsonJ said:Sorry if im wrong but Bass are closed till end of June no??
