Any unexpected incidents?

Hello all,
I enjoy fishing and go for fishing on most weekends. I usually go to a lake nearby. I love spending time there.
Last week I had gone with my kids. My daughter slipped and fell there. She fell on her back and is undergoing treatment now. The walkway there was uneven and was also slippery. So she did not notice it. And there was no signboard indicating the same.
I have hired a slip and fall injury lawyer here in Vaughan. They will help in ensuring that we get the maximum benefits that we deserve.
Has anyone faced such experiences?
Any awful incidents while fishing?

So now a kid can't slip and fall on their ass without lawyers getting involved. Good God, what a world we live in. No one is willing to take responsibility for their own actions any more, it's always someone else's fault, get a lawyer, and sue sue sue.

Friggin disgusting.

its called being observant to the conditions around you, every step you take isn't going to be on perfectly level, dry ground. and guess what, those walk ways, are use at your own risk.

Skunked yesterday on a supposedly stocked river.
I'm suing their ass off.

Now the city (i.e. citizens) have to pay because you cannot play the rules of outdoor (which is no rule literally, use your common sense for hazards and respect the outdoor)? I am sorry for your kid, but perhaps you should blame yourself! When I go outdoor with my kids I watch every one of their steps, and try to teach them to be alert about their surrounding. Sometimes I even rope them to myself to make sure they don't go too far from me until they are old enough to be able to take care of themselves.

It's the insane world we live in.

What is it, like 40 cents to the tax dollar goes to "health care" funding?

Average person works from August to December for the government's "health care"?

To put that into perspective, if you want to live in Canada and build custom canoes for a living, and play by the basic tax rules without any workarounds. Let's say you build one high-end canoe per month. 5 per year go to the government so that they can continue to butcher "health care" as every disease skyrockets. It's not tithing anymore, it's 4-6x+ that.

Imagine if people actually took responsibility for their own health? (With a few exceptions such as truly unfortunate accidents). Btw, broke your arm snowboarding? Not an accident, that is an inherently dangerous activity, so why should someone else pay for it?

Seriously? You're going to sue because your kid fell down? Good lord could I ever had got a pile of money when my son was training for bike racing, the amount of skin he left on public roads was astounding. Too bad we live in a society where every little thing results in suing. That money you will get will come at a cost for each and every tax payer. I hate all the new billboards popping up for personnel injury lawyers. I do feel sorry for the kid but is suing going to make her any better?

My kid slipped on the sidewalk last winter. put some ice on it...took him to emergency for some xrays which annoyed him because of the wait time. He's 7 and 7 year olds need to be somewhere apparently. He was cleared. All free of charge thanks to Healthcare Canada. I hope your kid is fine TS but you should take accountability for what happened to your kid like every parent should. After all the accident happened at your presence...

I fell in the water chasing a steelhead downstream, we should ban fishing!
Please NO.
Just needed a quick dip.
We do not want to start suing for everything like the States.
But they're sure starting to push that mentality.
I'm actually wondering if the op is actually a personal injury lawyer looking for business.

I sued mother nature last weekend because of the sunburn I sustained fishing. She was clearly negligent and must suffer!

Come to think of it , yesterday while re tying after a break I kinda pinched my finger with the hook and it looks a bit infected today. I should go after Mustad for making their hooks so sharp.

That's even worse than a femmebot:

Austin Powers opened 20 years ago today! My age was in the single digits. I think I saw the second one before I watched the first, and laughed so loud that everyone in the theater could hear.
