Thanks, that was a good lead, but they're a bit smaller than the bucks ones.
I couldn't find them in any of the stores online and wasn't sure if I picked them up somewhere obscure in my travels, it was driving me nuts!
I eventually found a listing for them in my Paypal account!
Turns out I got them off a small manufacturer on Ebay, so at least now I can get another bag of them.

This is the guy I was dealing with. No issues, swift delivery.

I used them the summer before last. Put them on the end of my 12 or 18ft interline and pole fished across the island canals, no casting involved (like using a roach pole).
Just reach across and lightly dip them onto the pads and weeds. They get smashed from underneath. They tend to lose the wings once they are beaten up.

They worked really well for me, but I am not casting or drifting them. The wings can go a bit "curly" sometimes but I fixed them in the spread position with a couple of pieces of stiff mono pushed through. They do sink, but as I'm only pole fishing them I can hold them on top of the pads fairly easily, or just under the surface. They must present a decent silhouette when seen from below, as they get chewed up pretty quickly. It's hilarious to see one sink and get mugged by four or five really small Perch, all unable to get a grip on it.

Thanks for posting and sharing never saw one of these before, looks like it would be an interesting bait to be using!
