Hey guys,

I was just wondering if anyone out there take transit to do their fishing?
I currently dont drive and use transit to get to my destinations.

For those that commute, how do you carry all your fishing gear?

I need to buy one of those over the shoulder tube rod holders.

I always take transit. I just carry my rod/net in my hand, and put all my tackle in my bag.
People can stare all they want, no fks given.

I throw my tackle in a backpack and then just carry my two rod halves in my hand...

This is the most important factor.

I usually throw my tackle in a bag and carry my rods. One two piece spinning rig and the tricky part a 6'6 one piece baitcaster. Bus, go train streetcar I've done it all. I also built a rod holder for my two piece rigs out of three inch PVC tubing with a screw on cap for those greyhound rides to a buddies place in Kingston. Tubing caps and abs cement for under $40 bucks.

When car-less in Toronto back in the day, I would use those little plastic tackle trays, put them in a backpack and used an old lawn chair bag to carry the rod over my other shoulder when riding the TTC.

Thanks for the feedback.

When I started, I had a telescopic bass rod that I would stuff in my bag. It was very simple to get around.
I recently bought a 2 piece rod and it feels like a hassle to carry.

Im gonna see if I can make my own. I think I read somewhere they sell a PVC tubing at dollarama.

Home depot man. Everything in the same isle. I'd be worried about quality control at dollarama. I also doubt they would have the threaded cap.
If you'd like I'll do some serious googleing and pm photo links of each part required to assemble this thing?
