I am a member of Mec, and I think it`s great, you pay $5 and basically it`s a $5 share in the company. There equipment is great, I do alotta camping and use alot of mec camping equipment. I can`t say anything bad about it, good quality stuff at a reasonable price. If you spend alot you may qualify for money back, plus they do instruction on things like rock climbing and paddling...there are some other perks, check out there website. But it is well worth it!

I checked out their web site, looks cool. It's pretty interesting that they have grass growing on their roof!

yes they are on King west...just east of spadina. I am not sure of lebaron, have never been, but there prices are comparable to anything else i` ve seen. They have camping, canoeing, kayaking, rock climbing, snow shoeing, cycling, hikeing...and whatever else ya need...no fishing though. lotsa good books, clothing and gadgets.
