Aug 8th thru Aug 11th camping trip.

Me and 4 friends are heading up to Cartier, Ontario. Camping this weekend, Fishing for Browns, Rainbow, Brookies, Splake, Lakers, Pike, Walleye and Bass. Focusing more on the trout then the others but I am going to look at some other Lakes then the 2 I have fished. I have been told In Aug there is a Green Bettle Hatch in the area, so I have gotten some green lures to try.

Hopfully I get some good pic and I wil post them when I get back.

Just got back, hot weekend 28 first day and 30 the last two days. 7 Browns caught in all, smallest was 3.5 pounder, biggest was 6 pound 11oz. most where over 5 pounder. They where hitting at all daylight hours, in the top of the water level, 10 feet deep at most, Caught trolling over 15 to 40 feet of water, useing 2.5 to 4 inch shad like cranks, in Silver, White and one was even caught on a baby Brown trout crank. We also caught one small (7 inch) Brook trout out of a creek near-by. I will try to upload pic soon but I am VERY tired and want to take a nap first :neutral:

YES, Brown Trout are great eatting. Nice color meat, looks like salmon to me.
