August holiday weekend fishing plans?

Who's heading out fishing this holiday weekend?

I am planning on a couple of hours along the harbourfront for a Friday evening session and a full day on the western shore of TTP Saturday. Not sure about holiday Monday yet, might wait and see how much rain we actually get on Sunday before deciding about fishing on Monday.

Anyone else?

My girlfriend wants to go up to Balsam on Monday.

If that's the case, I'm definitely bringing my gear with me.

I shall be jigging on Chippawa Creek in one hour, back at 10pm back out for 11pm to 1 am. Repeat over the long weekend, early mornings, evenings/nights.... my bed is 10 metres from the shoreline and there is another crappy winter going to be here before you know it, soooooo.....

Im going to be heading into the muskoka area on Monday with a canoe with the gf for some fishing and picnic we has good hook ups last year so we're gunna head there again. As for the weekend, maybe scugog or cooks bay or orangeville to hunt for bass or seeing if there is any group meets

It's gonna be a scorcher then it's suppose to pour on Sunday. I just might go out to Trenton late Sat and stay overnight fish early morn and come back before noon. It's usually good for Drum, bass and the rare walleye out there. If not I'll end up working on my basement.....lol.

I have new gear and a couple of new locations to try out, looking forward to a full days fishing tomorrow. Hopefully there will be plenty of shade from the trees, so I don't get fried!

Unfortunately, I'll be putting up dry wall and doing all the finishing work for 3 bedrooms and a living room. Have a great weekend guys/gals and take pictures

Got out to Balsam lake with the gf on Monday. It was a hot day and I was told that the best chance at catching andything would be in the middle of the lake. We rented a paddle boat and took it out to the middle of the lake for couple of hours. Had my worm chewed off once or twice but didn't catch anything but a sunburn

Yah fish was all in the middle and deep areas where I was and I totally got burnt too! Good thing I don't peel and it didn't hurt
