Hello all.
My name is Glen McDonald and I have returned to Ontario to care for parents who have reached the point where they can no longer cope on their own. Because my father had a heart attack and needed immediate help I was forced to quit my job, give away everything I own (quickly) and come with little more than my pug and the few things I could load into a rental car. (yes.. having to leave my job I had to leave my car behind as I could not longer afford the pmts).
Anyhow... enough of the <sniff> history right?
Now that I am here it is time for me to figure out a new way to survive in the limited time I have beyond being a caregiver.
DO YOU HAVE ANY GOOD 'Flyfishing' photos? I am setting up a new blog called fishing-with-flies and I am in need of some pictures for backgrounds, headers, etc. Kind of hoping that there are some of you that have some nice ones you would be willing to let me use. If you have a web site I am, very happy, to provide you with a link back to your site.
My goal is to learn how to write again. Find interesting stories on fly-fishing, fly fishing destinations, fly tying and so forth. There is no reason, as I see it, to not try and enjoy myself as I do my duty as the dutiful son. Who knows, perhaps I can figure out a way to make a little income so I can get out and fish now and again.
Talk to me my friends. I would really love to hear from you.
Oh.. and thanks in advance for the pictures. I love secluded streams and lakes with someone relaxing with a fly rod in their hand as well as many others. Show me what your willing to share k?
