hey...quick intro...i am Jay. i have been fly fishing for about 9 years ever since my wife and i moved to Vancouver Island. It's a beautiful sport and i was fortunate enough to live in one of the best areas for it for nine years. anyway, we have been living in Dominican Republic for the last two years and go back to V.I. to work for a couple months in the summer. this summer, however, we will be coming to Windsor. Windsor is my home town and essex county is a nice enough place, but i have no idea what the fishing is like there. since this will be my canadian home base for the summers to come, i was wondering is anybody could help out and tell me of local fly shops close by, and what the fishing is like. its been a good 25 years since i left and i wasnt really into fishing back then so i dont really remember is there are decent rivers near by. obviously there's lake fishing, but i dont have a boat so i will be looking for rivers or decent shore fishing. any ideas?
