balsam lake tomorrow launching from canal side

i just receive a call from my friend Phillip his friend is launching a boat at balsam lake 2morrow & he invited me he asked me if i know where a boat launch is & i did some research & came up with one at balsam lake dr next to the canal, anyways if you guys have any info of any good fishing spots on the west side of the lake by the canal it will be greatly appreciated.
