went out today at the detroit river trying to catch some bass.water was a bit stirred up from the rain yesterday and lots of weeds and debris floating down river.the water is so warm from all this hot weather when i touched my tube jig i could feel it was really warm.used tubes white and a green black flake no takers on the white,but had one bass bite the green color felt good but came off twice oh man.first time i didn't realize my drag was set to light and second time just over reacted and set the hook to quick,probably around 2 to 3 pound range.lost some tubes today as well, the weeds have really grown in thick this summer,sometimes it's really tough to free your lure from the weeds without breaking off.oh well until next time.
