Bass season! + Panfish video

Hi folks!

I would like to share some GTA fishing pictures with you, mainly because I got my best Bass at my #4 Fly Rod these last days, really fun! Now I need to find some smallies, better if Ifind it in some streams...

I´m also posting a video showing a Panfish been catched with dry flies, a Black Ant tied by myself

I´ve seen so many people killing small largies together with panfish, sad...

All fish were released and carefully handled

I figured bass on the fly, but that crappie on the fly is pretty amazing. I'm impressed - even more so that you tied it yourself!

awesome pics....nice fish....thanks for posting....fly fishing in an urban setting....almost "nija" like stealth with the lure presentation in an enviroment filled with chaos....i like it!!!!
hope to see more posts soon ... i can not get back to the islands until wed and thurs next week...but i will keep my eyes open for you out there...congrats on the excellent catch and releases...
your flies are terrific...kearney and i were amazed at how well made your flies were that you showed us...you should post some pics of them....its one thing to catch a fish another to catch a fish on a lure you made yourself....
some of the guys on this forum sure make some pretty lures...

Yes! Fly fishing, for me, is the most pleasurable way to catch fish, but sometimes I also baitcast, love to see one big topwater lure been assaulted by a predator!

Thanks man! In my opinion, Dry flies for panfish is the most efficient way to catch them. I could win a tournament only using it :mrgreen:

Oh, thanks buddy! I´m not an experienced fly tier, but these flies work, and that is my target: to tie flies that work! Hope to see ya in the Island, I was thinking to come back there on Tuesday, but not sure yet... Another option is to share a rental car and look for some spots out of GTA. If 3 of us, it´s not so expansive, probably 20 bucks each will fill up. I would like to fish the Grand River or other good Smallie´s rivers…just an idea!
