So I have a question about there reel trade in program and that is can I trade any reel in even an old walmart one I got on a combo rod years ago?

As long as the reel is in working condition you can trade it in.
Several years ago they had a bin for cheap spincast reels u could buy and trade it in for a credit. They were less than 10 dollars each

The last couple of years, I recall seeing the booth at the front where you could trade your reels in for a credit chit, and some reels on display next to the booth for sale for $5 or so.
