Thinking of taking the kids to the beach this weekend but want to find a beach that has decent bass, perch or whatever...fishing. thinking of Huron beaches but if anyone has suggestions for others, please let me know.

Not sure where you are from but Lake Erie has some decent beaches. Bass season opens this weekend and is an absolute fish factory...Bass will be in the shallows. Anywhere on the North shore should be good at this time of year. I'll be fishing it from the boat this weekend. Good luck!

Try Port Dover they have this per right beside the beach. I see people catch mainly gobies there. But also two foot shepherd and 10 inch yellow perch along with white perch and a 12 Bluegill! Also the uncommon bass and pike. There you can keep on eye on the beach and go fishing at the same time.

Port Maitland, Turkey Point, Port Burwell are all good shore spots for perch, sheephead and silver perch.
