Beach like spots with decent fishing

Hello,

Heading out tomorrow with the family and we are looking for any places that offer decent fishing from shore in a beach type setting. Can anyone recommend a few places?

Charles Daley Park along the QEW just west of St. Catharines has this type of scenario.... it is a day-use park and people fish the 15 Mile and 16 Mile Creek that border it. I know some boulders are along the shore for retainment and not sure how much beach remains. I'd "google-earth" it.

Port Colborne on Lake Erie is loaded with beaches/fishing areas if you have a small boat for bass. Head to Nickel Beach and have fun, family can soak up the sun and head out for the world class bass fishery. The yellow perch have been hot as heck out there as well.
