I went down to a local well known swim we call the beach swim. There were four other carp angler's there. Everybody caught some carp and we had fun. I managed to capture a couple of little beauties to compliment the carp I caught.

Nice looking Carp & Friends! ....Lorne

1. Are the little one's Goldfish, Koy ... Hybrid? What exactly are they?

2. What were you Using ? Special Homemade Boilies, Flavoured Corn, or Wheat Puffs

Also, out of curiousity

3. Have you ever caught a Carp with a "Deep Set Hook"?

- I have not.

I've even ended up with some on their tail, Dorsal Fin, and Pectoral ... but never a deep set

I'm surprised about that with Carp, Considertng Bait is used 95% of the time.

You would expect it to be higher.

1) Goldfish, They have been in the harbour since who knows when. There are also goldfish/common carp hybrids. I have never seen a koi in the harbour.
2) What am I using ? I fish paylaker style. Those goldies were caught on a 2/0 hook!.
3) Not that I can remember. This is probably because of the way carp feed. Carp don't take bait to the back of their throat when they initially suck it in. Most carp are hooked when they blow the hook out and it gets stuck on the way out of their mouth.

That's a big goldfish, you can take it home as a pet! Big gold fish sell for alot of money, koi sells for even more hahahahha.

Nice catch!
