Hey Guys,

I was wondering which line of Berkley soft plastics do you prefer to fish with? Powerbait, Gulp or Gulp Alive?

I've only tried one of their products and I believe it was Gulp Alive 7inch worms. It came in a plastic package with a trey and had liquid.
I really like it but they do have some problems. I find the package to leak and the lure would tear up easily. I wish I new which worm it was but I had throw away the packaging once I found out it leaks.

Im new to using soft baits and would like to get your feedback on which works best.

PowerBait
The Berkley PowerBait scent and flavor impregnated into baits is tasted by fish upon biting bait. Fish hang on longer for more positive hook sets. The more a fish bites the more scent is dispersed into the water. PowerBait products are available for nearly every fish species and fishing technique

Gulp!
Berkley Gulp! looks alive, feels alive and tastes alive! These baits are available in many popular freshwater and saltwater shapes and colors. When fishing with Gulp!, it is important to fish the bait slowly and allow the bait to do what it is intended to do, disperse scent

Gulp! Alive!
Gulp! Alive! is the next generation in Gulp! technology. To fish it looks alive, feels alive and tastes alive! Gulp! Alive! baits are natural shapes, and used bait may be returned to the bucket for recharging. Larger, longer Gulp! shapes are now available in Gulp! Alive! in wide-mouth, tip-resistant oval buckets

The powerbait worms are amazing and I dont know if you saw my post in a different topic but they remade them. Even better now.

I love all of these products. When I first tried Berkley power bait, I was amazed that their slogan proved true: "Fish bite and won't let go!". They really didn't let go! Then, when the Gulp product came out, I was equally amazed! They will swallow it if you let them, it's that tasty! lol Gulp alive? Devastating.

I wanna try 1 from each line and see which one works best for me.

I just placed my order online the other day. I bought 300 total worms lol. Im set for this fall.

Maybe you or others know where to buy them on sale?

Yea I usually call the sales rep and place my order. Plus theres a mail in rebate right now. He just gave me the deal without the mail in and made it an instant rebate.

Gulp minnows on a buckhair jig is a great scent added for walleye when you rip them through weed beds early season.

Gulp minnows.
What size? I've used the 1inch for sunfish and crappie under a bobber.
Does it work for bass? If so how do you rig it?

Would this work for catching bass?

Use Gulp Alive and Power Baits and have had great success with both. Now only if I can be as successful with my lures.

Maybe they should make Gulp/Power Lures

I am a big fan across the board on soft plastics gulp, gulp alive I haven't tried the worms yet but anything powerbait works well for me so far. And I like it mostly because it stores well and lasts quite a while

Power Baits. Tubes for Smallies I just bought some of their Power "Shaky Worms" Haven't tried them yet though

Also had Good Luck with the 6" Gulp Extruded Nighcrawler. Think they were $5.99 for a Jar of 12.

Yea the shaky worms will do you well if you place the bait in the right place and give it the right action. Amazing scents.
