Hi all, Im looking for opinions on the best baitcaster for float fishing. Im not interested in $1000 reels! I would say my budget is up to around $500. Brand name does not matter to me! Im using a carbonlite 2.0 right now, wanting an upgrade.

are you mainly fishing the rivers? you should try centerpin fishing...you can get one for as low as $250
Yes I have a Rv9&Imperial. May be going up for sale? Trying to decide if Im still gonna use it now! Been pinning for a few seasons after finding out how much better than a spinning reel it was. But now I think I like the baitcaster better.
