Hi all, my friends and I take trips usually every August where we fly somewhere in Ontario and fish. Below is what we are looking for in a spot. Can you guys let me know what you recommend that meets the criteria below? Thank you!

1. Lake must have large Northern Pike. I love to fish for trophy Northern, so the lake must have extremely large NP.
2. Looking for the lake to also have walleye. Gotta eat something, right?
3. Want to do the trip for around $2000 per person for 4-5 days which includes airfare from Toronto (this budget means we usually cant afford to go to saskatchewan and fish those amazing lakes).
4. Not a must, but any lake that offers other fish like Lakers would be cool.

Thanks again!!

Anglers Kingdom on Nungesser Lake (Red Lake, Ontario area). Lots of 48"+ Pike caught on this lake. Camp owner is Kevin Geary. He used to host a fishing show in the 90's featuring Canadian Lakes.
Kevin Specializes in large pike fishing. He'll give you the spots upon check in. Likes sucker fishing. When the walleye are holding tight to the bottom he recomends a sucker, quick strick rig just above them. Nice boats 40 and 50 HP with fishing platforms in the front. We did a weeklong trip for just over half of your budget. Lots of great walleye spots on the lake. As mentioned the walleye and the pike are in the same areas. Check out the web site for some great pike pikes. No lakers on main lake. Kevin may have an idea where else in the area the lakers can be found.

Temagami, something like 760 lakes in the area. Pike, walleye, smallies, lakers, specks and I believe there is musky in the area although I have never caught 1. It's a beautiful wilderness. Lady Evellynn Park is the best. Sorry I may have spelled that wrong. We have caught pike up to 20 lbs, 'eyes to 10, smallies to 7, lakers to 20 and specks to 5.

I`m partial to NW Ontario (cause I live here, lol)

There is world class fishing of many species, it can be relatively cheap, and you can hit multiple lakes per day if necessary.

I`d spend 2 days fishing Lake of the Woods, 2 days on Rainy Lake, then hit the Clearwater-Pipestone chain for another 2 days.

This would give you a shot at trophy pike, musky, walleye, whitefish, lakers, smallmouth bass and crappie

You might try Esnagami lodge. Never been there myself but I have spoken to folks who have been. They claim monster pike. Catch and release for the monsters.
