Best rod for salmon fishing!??!!?

Hi ill be going salmon fishing in sept, was just wondering whats the best rod to use for salmon and steelhead fishing???? thanks

It depends on what type of fishing you are going to do. If your trolling on the lake, then a rod in the 9 foot range with a med heavy action would be best. If you are river fishing, a 12 to 15 foot rod with a light or med light action would be best.

12'~15' Rod is what most people seem to use.
