Smooth was out today having some fun jigging up some crappie and hitting the odd sauger when this happened. "That is either another little school or something really .... FISH ON!!!" -- fun fight on the little rod and BOOM PIKE!

Great catch, I actually grabbed ultra light ice rods specifically to catch pike. they give a great scrap on such small rods, that must've been pretty exciting when you were expecting crappie though haha
