Big pike in August

Hi, I'm fishing a small tournament for biggest pike in Georgian Bay. The tournament is in August. I'm very comfortable with knowing where the big pike are in the spring early summer and fall but have no luck in August. Please help with any suggestions as to technique, tackle, structure etc.
