Bluffers Park Report

I was at bluffers park yesterday to catch steelhead or brown trout.Here is the report
Weather-Cold/light Windy
Water visibility-Clear
Rod-7ft model# n/a
Reel-Abu Garcia model# n/a
Line-Birkeley's Fireline
Leader-6lb fluorocarbon leader
Bait-salmon egg,live worm
# of people fishing-2 including me
# of fish= cannot see any even though water was clear
# of fish caught=0

I started fishing around 9 am.The weather was not that cold.It was little windy.I went directly to bridge near yatch club.This is very good spot for salmon in fall.You can also catch rainbow trout & brown trout here all year long .The water was very clear.I could see bottom at some place.3 weeks ago all the water was ice.now95% ice melted.I first tried using roe sac but no hit.Then i tried putting live worm under the float but no bite.There was another guy fishing with me.He also has same thing.no bite.he also tried different method but no luck for us.I left from here and then went to other spot near boat launch area.Below you will find picture & video i took.

After i finished from this place i went to area near boat launch.It was worse then other area.There was lots of wave in the water and water was also muddy.I tried here roe sac,worm.Nothing worked.But i know people catching big pike from this spot.Below is picture attached

beautiful report, too bad you didnt catch anything, but there is always next time.

Usually the crane company will be there end of April for the bigguns...

Thanks for the report ! got out there too this summer, fished the southern part of the inner marina, didn't find too many fish around, although I saw a few bass & sunfish, I didn't see any pike (they're in there tho). Oh well.. can't wait until pike opener, and get fishing around the islands & harbour again.

I was at bluffers park today was there for about 1 hour but no action.water was very clear plus it was sunny.but no luck.i think there is no fish there right now.
