troutamer, I would try to contact the manufacturer. It happened to me once with a different company, they explained to me that i might have received a west-coast model meant for higher test (thicker) line. They made me a great offer. Most companies would prefer that you leave happy. Once you get a new reel, then decide...

the reel is in perfect condition, not sure what your talking about. only reason for selling is I have far to many reels
