I'm posting this on a few local boards before it's off to kijiji.
The time has come to let go of my fishing rig, it has done a great job at catching a ton of fish and is perfect for anyone looking to hit some small Ontario lakes.
It's a 14ft long/4ft beam semi-v aluminum boat, with some tasteful upgrades.
- 1992 Mercury 9.9 w/ hydrofoil (Bought and serviced by Randy's Outboards out in Georgetown) Puts the boat on plane quite nicely, 2 adults with gear it coasts at about 30kmph
- 12ltr gas tank
- Brand new transom treated with 2 part epoxy, it will out live me.
- The trailer is in great shape and to be honest its probably a tad overkill for a boat of this size.. but hey my loss your gain. The only thing it could use is some fresh paint.
- Minn kota 40# thrust trolling motor powered by a bps xps battery up front (goes all weekend)
- Garmin echo 500c fish finder and rule-mate 750gph bilge pump are powered by a seperate, smaller battery.
- 2 swivel seats, 1 of which can be mounted up front, or in the centre of the boat.
- In the pics you see 3 floor hatches, the one closest to the stern is for storage and the other 2 for the batteries.
- The complete bottom inside of the boat was coated with GLUVIT, do some research but it will never leak.
- 2 mustang life jackets, 15 pound anchor, fire extinguisher, carpeted floors (same stuff they use on tracker boats, I splurged a bit)
Everything works, I put a lot of work (and money) into this thing. It's a great little package that has never left my stranded. My jeep lib pulls this with no problems. I have a box with a few extra peices that will go with the boat (extra seat ect)
I probably forgot a few things, but PM me with any questions.
