Howdy all,
my wife and I moved here from Ottawa almost 9 years ago and her brother lured me back into fishing in a major way! I currently own 6 rods and 9 reels: living 10 minutes away from Bass Pro doesn't help my self-control any...
Ice-fishing was fun the first few years but now i mostly focus on the other 6 months, targeting pike, bass and the occasional walleye. We used to have a nice 16ft aluminum boat but sold it last year and now I fear I'm either going to be land-locked or dependent on a fellow fisherman to take me along for a day on the water (I'll contribute my share of the gas and buy the coffees and donuts)
I love this forum but there's so much information and so many spots it's hard for me to come up with an action plan for this year. I'd definitely love to try the islands, and might pick your brains over the smaller ponds in the Vaughan area.
Anyway, great meeting you all and if you can see my FB profile pic here, rest assured that's not me...I'm much less attractive than that!
