Thats a nice MALE BOWFIN!
Some of the males have almost NEON GREEN GLOWING undersides.
Their Pectorials are also Dark Green.
The Females are mainly Black/Brown with White Undersides (Just like a Catfish).
Last week I saw a coupe males still hanging out and Protecting the Babies.
They swim around like a school of Tad poles.
Really neat to see the Males, Hanging out that long to look after the Kids.
About 3 weeks ago, I lost a BIG FEMALE (Must have been around 10 lbs - Biggest one I have ever saw out at the Islands).
She took the worm and then headed under some heavey cover.
