i got this kit about 3 weeks ago and i havent tried it out yet (my younger sister used it, but no luck). I was just wondering what colours i have, as they dont write it, when i should use it and how i should rig it.

Thanks

The name of the color dont matter. One company may call it one thing the next company may call it something else. If you like a certain color, just remember it by the color, not by its name.

All those colors will work.

As for rigging, those seem really suitable for wacky rig. I cant tell you the best way to rig them, as different ways are presented differently and for different purpose.

For more rigs, google "worm rig" and you'l find tons of different ways to rig them.

I use the third worm you linked all the time. It is called Watermelon Red Fleck. Great for any lake really. Watermelon is a popular colour. As for the rig, you can do anything from texas rig in weedy areas like most of the fishing I do, or wacky rig and toss under docks and tall weeds. Great for all types of fish!

Hey usernamehere,

Thanks for your feedback. I kind of like using the names, but u r right. I just dont like when i cant describe the colour as i forget sometimes. for names its easier as i can just type the name on the internet with the company in front of it.

Thanks though, for your sugggestions,

Hey alwayscatching,

this is the set i bought from bps i was talking about. I've heard in a lot of youtube vids that watermelon red fleck is a popular and productive colour.

thanks for the suggestions,

If you ever come by BPS and I am working, just come find me and I will show you different rigging options hands on.

Watermelon red fleck work extremely well. As for rigging I Texas rig with either weightless with a 4/0 hook for a 6 inch worm or a 3/0 on a 5 or 4 inch worm. Ideally you want about a third of your worm length to be your over all hook length. Wacky rigging I use wiring heat shrink tubing in 3/8 diameter. Canadian tire sells it in clear in the automotive section. For hooks on a wacky worm I like a 2/0 or 3/0 octopus hook also called mosquito hooks.

Here's a video I found as a visual aid
