Brantford fishing

Okay guys I'm going to visit my grandma this weekend and I thought I would do some fishing when I'm down there I fished in Brantford as a kid and I never not remember catching somthing I was wondering if you guys could help me out with some shore fishing spots?

Wilkes dam or the exceptional waters. Both have great fishing, wilkes will have more variety but ex waters have good smallie fishing, but most don't pass the 12" mark.

Exceptional waters is primarily smallmouth bass.

WHERE IS EXCEPTIONAL WATERS?

Below the dam in paris downstream to the cockshutt bridge I believe, not 100% sure of the downstream boundaries though, better check up on that. But make sure to read the special regs for the stretch of water.

Right above the dam has good fishing but I don't think you can fish there anymore now

I don't know im going to check it out today my grandma said you can't anymore

Yep there are signs that say no fishing above the dam I use to fish there all the time when I was a kid
