Anyone catch anything yet? I went down last Saturday night after the storm (almost full moon), only couple other guys there and I didn't get a bite.. Getting anxious to hook into some chinny's, but I don't have access to getting out on the lake. Too early yet for the pier? What is your earliest pier chinny from Bronte?

Thanks for the replies.

Fish on!

I think that you are way too early.
The East end always gets the action first the gradualy westward.

Never know but browns could be cruising.

You can hook up starting now... if you know what you are doing....... not long from now boys!!!!!!!!!! Guys were posting on here last summer in July with their catches.

I think last year had the earliest runs in recorded history, which seemed to correlate nicely with the early spring. If you're lucky ducky, you could hook up anytime now, but I'd wait for more fish to show up.

If there's room to fish on the pier, then they're not in yet...lol

Hearing on rough choppy days last week some coho and browns at Bronte. You need to watch the weather and winds to have a chance at hitting it right this early in the season.
