Hey all

was thinking of making a trip to Bronte creek in the morning, anyone from the Burlington area give me update on what the rains has been like there? It's been heavy most the evening here so don't know if it's worth it to make the trip. Or if it's been light enough it won't mess with the creek too much

Thanks!

I haven't been to a particular part of Bronte creek for a while, so I may be incorrect. However, compared to what I saw vs. when I was growing up and this past spring the water was pretty high but clear yesterday. Many of the gravel bars were under water.

I was there with my young son to see some of the action. Surprised that there were few cars in the lot. It was mid-afternoon...

Has anyone been out to any of the west tribs the past week? are the salmon running up the rivers already?
Looking to catch my first salmon this coming weekend. The rain we got the past few days and cooler temps this week should be a good sign.

As I said, I was on Bronte yesterday (cat's outta the bag on that). Didn't see any signs of fish but could only access a small area. So, no fish in the creek and no carcasses on the shore (thankfully).
