Over the course of this year, I have been quite frustrated with my fishing year and seeing so many people violating laws, and recently, i have seen two people out netting fish while fishing. So this isnt commercial for sure and they were using a net you would us to land a fish.

All in all, these two guys partnered up, one shining a light down into the water to see the fish, while the other holds the net to net the fish. On that occasion, they happen to be able to net a HUGE HUGE LMB.

I was out at nighttime, and there is probably no possible way for me to contact MNR, so who would i be able to contact to bring these ******** to justice?

how would they manage to net a bass at night using a net we would normally use to net fish with? That's some skill if they can manage to do that!

That aside, my guess is to take pics of violation in action, then take license plate pics, then report to MNR.
You can try the OMNR tips hotline, I believe they take in calls of poaching or other illegal activity involving fish and wildlife:

Good Luck! I'm totally with ya but serious good luck getting a cop onto the scene. No offence but they have far more important things to deal and I understand that just turn on the news for 5 min first school month three shootings go figure.
This should be something the ministry could take care of. I say should be they wont!

You can email them, call them harres them and you wont see a single thing done.

It's so wrong I know but how about we post pixs of people we see doing this here embarrass them a bit?

I can see netting a LMB no problem I don't understand that part about how it could be done. Go out at night shine a light over a bass lake you will see them resting on weed easy to spot & target and netting should not be a problem at night anyways but why you would want to do that is beyond me aint the fight and hunt what it's all about?

frozenfire, i was at ummm. this wonderful bridge thats got the underpass for crappie and along the side for walleye + bass . 8) hope you know where that is, but for some reason the fish there are LAZY. i had a 3 - 4lb walleye there (whcih i lost) that didnt fight until it was just 5-6 ft away from me. but DAMN, the bass they netted was about the size of the one from frozenfire's post of his pb earlier.

im gonna assume that this place is where fish go to rest after a hard days worth of chasing down baitfish.

anyways, thanks for the number!
