Camping

i am new to angus area. i am hoping to find some free camping with my family may long weekend and into the summer. id like to stay within an hr to hr and a half drive from angus. where i can do some fishing ( no boat) and some target practice with rifles.

any good suggestions???

There is not alot within an hour for good free camping. I can show you some cool areas to go within an hour from my place. LMK and we'll go for a drive one day. As for shooting rifles, remember that there is a ban on shooting calibres bigger than .270.(pretty sure its .270) Once you go another hour north on the highway you can shoot any calibre.
Most of the places i would point you to need a boat to get much fishing done.(i'd be happy to loan you my canoe, providing i am not using it that weekend..hehehehe)
